Has anybody tried machine independent restoration, after restoring image to the new hardware, is the PC working properly without any issues ?

Yes. MIR is working ok. It revived two mine inactive clones in new systems. But be carefully with New SID Generation. Better don't select and enable it.

others,how did it worked after restoration
